Sabina Osbourne Gray - Drugs Awareness Speaker

Sabina Osbourne Gray

DRUGS AWARENESS SPEAKER
Crack and heroin addiction, crime, prison, and rehab - this was my life for fifteen years. After experimenting with drugs as a fourteen year-old, I never imagined things could spiral so quickly out of control.

Now a drugs awareness speaker, I talk to schools throughout the UK about the causes and consequences of my experience, and I address the wider issues that lead young people into substance abuse and addiction.

The aim of my talks is to arm students and teachers with the right information, using my story as a powerful example, so as to better guard against the dangers of taking drugs.

I talk openly and honestly, and I've been noted for my direct, informal and relatable style. I say the things that would have made me think twice before following the path that would lead to addiction.

When the boys arrived to their lessons after your talk, they couldn't stop talking about it. You made quite an impact! Your honest manner is what makes what you have to say so powerful.
Paula Kearney, Harrow School

As a parent, I found it extremely informative and refreshingly frank. More importantly, it resulted in an engaged young man who spent the whole trip home explaining all the key messages Sabina put across.
Parent, Shiplake College

You made a real impact on our whole school community.
Marie Cozzarolo, Beau Soleil, Switzerland

I cannot stress enough how significant the contribution was that Sabina made to our Drugs Awareness Day. I am personally really excited about the impact her voice will have; making drugs education relevant to all students.
